1. Official original physical hardware license key dedicated for LSI 9260/9280 series RAID adapters, required to activate CacheCade Pro 2.0 SSD read/write cache acceleration function.
2. Working principle: Plug this small daughter card onto the matching interface of 9260/9280 RAID card; the hardware chip stores authorized license information, the RAID firmware automatically enables full CacheCade Pro features after detection.
3. CacheCade Pro unlocked capability:
   • Create high-speed SSD cache pool to accelerate HDD RAID array read & write performance;
   • Support mixed SSD cache tiering, greatly reduce random IO latency for database, file storage servers;
   • Without this key, the RAID card only supports basic functions and cannot enable SSD cache acceleration.
4. Compact mini PCB design, plug-and-play on RAID card reserved pin header, does not occupy chassis space, no extra wiring required.
5. Strict compatibility limit: Only works for 9260 & 9280 generation MegaRAID cards; incompatible with 9361, 95xx, 96xx series, 3ware/3ware 9750 series, entry LSISAS1078 RAID cards.
