Limitations

• Only compatible with OS1/OS2 single-mode fiber, cannot work with OM2/OM3 multi-mode fiber.
• Maximum transmission distance limited to 40km; ultra-long links over 40km need customized 50G ZR modules.
• QSFP28 form factor, cannot be inserted into SFP/SFP+ slots without adapter.
• Only supports 50G Ethernet protocol, not compatible with 25G/10G low-speed ports without auto-negotiation.
